Stunning Victorian triple diamond sardonyx ring in 14k yellow gold. Circa 1880. Three old cut diamonds set in a vertical line through the black and white sardonyx slab which has been freshly polished to bring back the shine to the stone. Center diamond is approx .25ct and each smaller diamond measures approx 3mm for an original combined weight of approx .22ctw. One of the smaller diamonds is chipped, however the piece remains a rare and desirable find. This is reflected in the price. A tiny fleabite to the sardonyx is visible at the edge of the center diamond. All in all quite amazing for a piece of this kind after 140 years! This was pinky sized when it arrived in the store so it has also been sized to a 6 making it much more wearable.
weight approx 6.3g
Please understand that almost everything I sell is either preloved, vintage or antique - it is highly unlikely that it will be in new condition. Everything I sell is sold as is. Gold may be scuffed, stones may show wear and be slightly loose at times, patina will often be left in tact. I will endeavor to list any defects that are significant but understand I may miss something that you consider important. Please ask any and all questions prior to purchase - I am always happy to discuss my pieces.
