This is a piece for a true gem collector, for those who love to own gems that no-one else has….or in this case, has likely never even heard of. Set with a 2.823ct fire orange cushion cut sphalerite - a rare stone to find in gem quality. Sphalerite has THREE TIMES the dispersion (fire) of diamond and an adamantine luster (another diamond like quality that very few gems have). Accented with 2 small emerald cut diamonds, .26ctw, F, VS. All in platinum because how else should you set something so rare?
One important thing to note about sphalerite: This is NOT an every day wear piece. Sphalerite is quite soft and should be worn sparingly and not when you expect to be working with your hands. Ensure it is stored properly when not worn - in a box or ring tray where nothing else is touching it. Like an orchid, this stone requires a little special care but the beauty is worth it all. If you’re chasing something truly special and unique, this piece will fit into your collection perfectly.
In very good condition - one flea bite to the sphalerite that’s not noticeable when worn.
Size 6 - I would avoid sizing if at all possible. It can be sized, but it would be better not to
weight approx 5.2g
