Beautiful and heavy medallion in 9k yellow gold with a very light rosey overtone that comes with old gold.  With wing details and raised central area engraved with WCP.  ‘Reverse is engraved Presented to W C Potts, runner up Grantham cup 1934.’  The Grantham Cup is a horse riding cup.  Medal itself is dated via hallmarks to Chester in 1927.  Very solid and beautifully made.  Perfect neck mess addition.
