This is an incredible piece!!  Approx 1.10ctw of old mine cut diamonds in 18k yellow gold.  High crowns and chunky facets throughout.  Surrounding a cushion cut synthetic ruby which was a popular choice at the time.  Diamonds are generally eye clean - even those with lower clarity under magnification appear bright and clean to the eye.  Some diamonds have small chips but nothing that distracts the naked eye.  Just a beautiful piece with lots of sparkle.  Circa 1900.

The synthetic ruby is approx 7.79 x 6.55mm and the halo is approx 14.5 x 12.84mm, and estimated by formula as approx 1.75cts.
