The moment I saw this piece, there was no way I was leaving it behind.  Such a special piece.  Stunning phoenix with a south sea baroque pearl, an Ethiopian opal in its belly, an emerald eye, and a bezel set .20ct diamond (estimated as J, SI1) held aloft in its wings.  Beautifully detailed feathers.  All in 14k white gold.  Truly a work of art.  Circa 2000.  Wearable as both a brooch and a necklace, it comes with a 16” rope chain also in 14k white gold.  This is a large piece at approx 56.3mm long including the bail and approx 21.25mm wide.  This is a spectacular piece and one that will be a true treasure in your collection.
